Structure
And Preponderance
- Push/pull solenoid is designed to obtain maximum force, however
with minimum size and weight. Its coil is covered by high permeability
metal. And its plunger is with a design of supporting magnetic
polarity. To comparing plunger withoutsupporting magnetic polarity
design, the force is increased by 20-50 which can achieve very
good performances.
- Besides, the height of push/pull. Solenoids is only 1/2 of its
outer diameter.
- Space is saved by this flat structure.
- Push pull solenoids are divided into cone ( C ) type and flat
( F ) type. Please refer FIG.1 and FIG.2. If middle-long stroke
is required, please use C type. To require short stroke or strong
force, please use F type.

General Characteristics
Insulation class:
E CLASS.
However lead wire is a class.
Dielectric strength:
AC 1000V, 50/60Hz, 1 min. (at normal temperature and normal humidity)
Insulation resistance:
more than 100MO on a DC 500V(at normal temperature and normal humidity)
Life:
standard 2 million operations
long type 10 million operations
Points To Be Considered When Operation
- CONCERNING TEMPERATURE
The values of push/pull solenoid coil data are based on ambience
temperature 20?, and plating on standard heat sink.
And coil data is defined when rated operation, temperature rise
85°C Max. In case of too high ambience temperature or too
small heat sink, please decrease duty cycle or operation voltage.
Coil temperature must not exceed 120°C.
- CONCERNING PROCESS OF SHAFT
When users process on shaft (Material: Stainless), do protect
metal cutting powder from adhering on slot of plunger. As life
will be decreased seriously due to metal powder.
- AIR GAP SPACER
There's a spacer between plunger and case for air gap. When releasing,
the spacer is to avoid residual magnetism. Do not forget it during
assembly.
Methods Of Selection
To choose suitable push/pull solenoids, please determine followings:
- PULL FORCE
Besides load, it's necessary to also consider variation of temperature
and voltage. Therefore, please time, load by safety coefficient
1.5 x.
- DUTY CYCLE
Besides on time and off time, please also note Max. on time.
- STROKE
To define required stroke.
- OPERATION VOLTAGE
To define coil input DC voltage.
